To dance, perchance to dream, perchance to dance!

Can I just say: I dig Bon Duke. The juxtaposition of high fashion on top of our favorite streetwise model men is nothing new, but the second someone made these boys dance was the second I put this video by Stylecaster into permanent rotation on my many computers months ago. I should also give a nod to some slick styling by Priscilla Polley. That red Bottega Veneta on a jiving Shane Gambill is wowza factor. Plus she really nailed it with the hot dancin' shoes (i.e. Bess, Florsheim by Duckie Brown, Dior, and yes, more Bottega Veneta).

I got to hit up the legendary Don Hills last Sunday for the first time and, needless to say, we danced until we sweat. And then we danced some more. The way it should be. And even though John Cameron Mitchell was DJing that night, I'll admit I will always prefer the music that was used in this video. What is it anyway? Some kind of electrifying, manhattanized cubana with a twist of sex, drugs and rock and roll...I'll find out and get back with you. Until then, enjoy. And put your designer dancin' shoes on.

"...he's got black hair and a little bit of it hangs down in the front and there at the back, and overnight he wears a cheap hat and he looks marvelous...He's always the boy of my dreams and if only I could marry him well I'd be the happiest girl in the world."

The video...
