More often than not I find myself debating the age old question: To pay the rent or buy new spring shoes? On the one hand, yes, of course, it's ridiculous; while on the other hand, a pair of these Alexander McQueen penny loafer's on my feet would give me that extra pep-in-the-step every boy needs on his New York way to work, making it easier to get out of bed, easier to throw together an outfit, and easier to forget winter ever happened in the first place. With stress-levels reduced and that new shoe smell in the air, I imagine my productivity would be at peak performance. And this wouldn't be a temporary shoe fling. No, this would be an investment into the next five or six years of fashion-related happiness.
All that to say, I'm really digging these bone colors. These are the kind of shoes that dress up anything you put on. So, for someone like myself who tends to stick with classics like denim, neutral trousers and my favorite white t-shirts, these shoes finish off the outfit with some excitement. They would also work smoothly thrown together with some cropped navy trousers or shorts, and I even like the idea of pairing them with something super colorful, almost flamboyantly bright. Clearly my mind is fixated on warmer weather... Thoughts?
